Have you ever seen those blank mannequin/body forms in art stores and not know what you could actually do with them? Well here are two examples from Damselfly Crafts located in Glasgow.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
A little while ago we received an email from Artbeat and these are some of their creations with Decopatch.

You can get these cool paper mache skulls here as well as some other cool forms.
It’s November already! So that means there is a new Guest Artist in town.
We met this guest artist at the Rhinebeck Stamping Festival.
Here’s Estrella with her make and take, a beautiful star frame/ornament.

As for her latest creation…
go read the guest artist section…
but for now here is a sneak peak!

I did a brief post on this a few weeks ago but I came across some more examples of embellised decopatch projects. It really brings the paper to life and gives it even more personality. Try it out on some of your projects and send me the photos. Embellishments can be anything from jewels to buttons to ribbon to metal wires.
Use your imagination!

Being that I am a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I thought I’d get another perspective on Decopatch papers from some art students. These students had many different ideas and uses for the paper, other than the average decoupaging. They thought of it mostly as an addition to mixed media projects. Here are some of the highlights…
Hellllllllooo everyone! Sorry for the delay but the new GUEST ARTIST for OCTOBER is now up for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Categories: Mixed Media, OtherWe recently received an email from an Altered Arts magazine artist who is frequently featured on the cover for her altered books. Rebecca sure does have an amazing talent at altering ordinary objects and making them truely unique and well since that is our motto with Decopatch I figured I’d share some of her work with all of you.

This is an altered chair that she did for a charity event, and then was asked to make another one for the library’s fundraiser since the first one was so popular. How fabulous is that! I’ve never seen anything like it. Truly inspirational.
Click here to see some more of her amazing alterations!
