Our friend, Katia Dorcin, from Paper2Play has sent in some terrific photos of altered furniture. It’s simply amazing how you can transform some drab piece of furniture in to a fabulous functional work of art.
Below are 3 examples from Katia of regular storage units and matching picture frames.

A few posts ago we told anyone who had an Etsy Shop to let us know and here’s our first replier. Rose from EyeStreetGal told us, “I love Decopatch so much! I haven’t had this much fun doing art/crafts in a long time.”
Check out her shop, she has a bunch of wonderful Decopatch items for sale.

Paula Stenberg recently added a post to her blog and it just so happens to be her latest Decopatch adventure… Decorating her iMac computer!

Pretty neat! Definitely a wonderful touch to an ordinary, everyday item.

I found this great artist on Flickr from Germany. She does some really lovely graphic art as well as…you guessed it…DECOPATCH! Here are pictures of spaceage-looking chairs that she updated with some of the new black & white papers.

The holidays are just around the corner and have already started for some of us. With that, why not check out our extra special Holiday Ornament Kits. They include a papier mache ornament, paper, glue and a brush. Next year we will have an even wider selection of holiday figures to choose from.

As I was going through some older emails from people who have tested out our paper I came across this image of a wonderfully decorated glass bottle. Enjoy!

This past weekend was the Rhinebeck Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival and it was sooo much fun. We met a lot of really excellent crafters from all age groups. It was great! The people who participated in the Make & Take did such a fantastic job on their projects (images coming soon!)
Fifi enjoyed having everyone Decopatch her a new outfit. It is not quite finished but after a few more craft fairs she will look marvelous.
Here are a few images from the show after we got all set up.

*****MORE PHOTOS COMING IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS*****
So make sure you come back and check it out!

We recently received an email from an Altered Arts magazine artist who is frequently featured on the cover for her altered books. Rebecca sure does have an amazing talent at altering ordinary objects and making them truely unique and well since that is our motto with Decopatch I figured I’d share some of her work with all of you.

This is an altered chair that she did for a charity event, and then was asked to make another one for the library’s fundraiser since the first one was so popular. How fabulous is that! I’ve never seen anything like it. Truly inspirational.
